At St. Ignatius, the Northwestern A Chiefs used a tough defense to build a first half lead, then pulled away from District 7-B St. Ignatius in the fourth quarter.
Kevin Wroblewski scored 16 points for Ronan, which forced the Bulldogs into committing 20 turnovers in the first half en route to a 27-19 lead at intermission. Justin Dustybull added 11 points for the Chiefs, who used a trio of 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to run away at the end.
Joren Gies led St. Ignatius (2-2) with 15 points and 15 rebounds.
